Prototype Molds


Prototype molds are often very basic and can be designed not to run automatically but rather with manually placed components. This is the best way to get production quality parts for trials and tests by expending the least amount of time and cost.

Bridge-Style Molds


A bridge-style mold tool is a prototype tool that can be modified into a full production mold tool that will produce thousands of parts. Bridge-style molds are usually manufactured out of combination of mild steel or aluminum and harder tool steel.

Production Molds


Production molds are designed to run hundreds of thousands or even millions of parts and can be designed to produce as few as one to as many parts in one molding cycle.

Global Tooling Sourcing


To offer our customers the best value possible, we have developed a global network of suppliers for injection mold tooling. For more than ten years Pro-Mold has specifically trained our low-cost offshorre suppliers to produce a high quality mold that meets our customers' requirements. Pro-Mold manages the project and warranties the mold as if it were built by us at our own facility. This insures that our customers achieve their budgetary goals while maintaining peace of mind.

Pro-Mold, Inc. manufactured the single cavity mold that is shown in the video below running in our 1200-ton injection molding press.  The part is an 8.25lb ABS medical part.
